SETDA’s goal is to improve student achievement through technology. SETDA’s mission is guided by three key principles:
Who are SETDA Members? SETDA’s membership includes educational technology directors and staff from the state departments of education of all fifty states, the District of Columbia and American Samoa. As members of SETDA, state leaders work together in committees, subcommittees and taskforces to assess, analyze and propose recommendations on how to improve student learning through technology. Through regular conference calls, meetings and electronic communiqué, SETDA members regularly exchange information on how to positively affect student learning and teaching through technology.
